Below are some frequently asked questions and our answers to them.
We recommend to only fill the Travalo with a perfume spray bottle. These were designed to execute only gentle pressure.
Buy a Travalo with the same color as the bottle of your fragrance or packaging. Another possibility is the labeling of the internal cartridge with a permanent marker, or you can have your Travalo atomizer engraved.
The Travalo basically consists of 3 parts: cover, aluminum body and the inner part (cartridge), which is made of plastic. The plastic inner part can be taken out, but it is not possible to disassemble it.
As a general rule, we do not recommend to clean the Travalo cartridges. Always use one Travalo cartridge for one fragrance. If you have several scents, we recommend you to buy a Classic HD set (with three cartridges) or the Milano HD set.
If you still want to clean your Travalo … This is the easiest way to do it:
• Buy a small spray bottle for traveling. These are available in drugstores and pharmacies.
• Buy a spray bottle that has the smallest possible nozzle and exerts only slight pressure, otherwise you will damage your Travalo.
• Fill the spray bottle with water.
• Pump the Travalo cartridge full with water (do not overfill!).
• Spray the water out of the Travalo and repeat the process if necessary.
